No Regrets..

This day marks the end of my 5th year with M ark..Whew! Finally! Why do I sound so unhappy? Haha! ;p

Well, it actually started out fine. I can still remember talking to Mark on our 4th year anniversary about our plans for the coming year..our plans for this big event.

We started out on our journey and everything seemed to be going well. We ran over some bumps but we managed to get across all of them. There were times when we got lost but we were able to find the way.

The ride to our 5th year has not really gone too far yet,
we were not even half-way through our journey, when I discovered something which eventually turned out to be one of my biggest nightmares. And at that very moment, all I really wanted was to get off. Too bad I wasn't able to..maybe because my seat belt was fastened too tightly, maybe because I was afraid to be lost, or maybe because I just didn't want to. I really didn't know what got into me.

I must admit though that even if I chose to continue to be with him in the journey, there were still times when I thought of jumping off. But Mark has held on to me until the end. I know, i know..every
being with a sane mind would have just left him all alone. But well yes, I guess I'm crazy and I don't care! ;p

Honestly, for the past years that I've been with Mark, I must admit that our 5th year is the one that I hate the most. But even if that is the case, my heart can't really seem to have room for regrets.

I remember someone tell me: "Don't be sad that it's over..just be glad that it happened". Some good things just never really last..well yeah, this is so true..but bad things don't also last for long..so whenever things don't turn out so well or whenever I remember all the sad things that happened, I just tell myself: "Don't be sad that it happened..just be glad that it's over". :)

I know that I may not have loved him more the past year, but one thing I know is for sure...I never loved him any less..

Not So Lucky Day

It was a very bad day for me. A lot of misfortunes happened to me today. It started out this morning when I wasn't able to hear the alarm of my clock and so I got to wake up 15 minutes late.

On our way to the office, I usually drive for my dad to Makati on Wednesdays, we got stuck in traffic at C5 and it's already 6:30 am. Not so bad right? Yeah sure! But not for someone whose car's plate number ends in 6! Good thing I've got good driving skills and I managed to get back to Taguig from Makati before the number coding period starts.

I usually arrive the first in our office and so I started to prepare for breakfast. I was filling my noodles with hot water when the cup slipped from my hand and the water started to drip on my fingers! Ouch! My right pointer finger got burnt so badly that I can hardly type this post right now..

In the afternoon, I got a text message from my sister and a call from my mom that my grandfather passed away today at 4pm. Blood started to rush up to my face, tears started to fall, my hands started to tremble, and I started to feel so weak. I'm not really that close to my grandfather but I felt so sad when I heard the news. Let us all pray for my grandfather. May his soul rest in peace..

Just when I thought that I've had enough bad luck, on our way home, I got into an argument with Mark. An argument which turned turned into a huge fight..on this very day before our 5th anniversary! Talk about being unlucky! *sigh*

7 down, 29 more to go!

It was just an ordinary Friday afternoon when Mark gave me this:

2006 Kitty Mirror

He said that he went out a couple of days ago to buy food for merienda when he saw this. He sure knows how I so love Hello Kitty so he immediately bought one for me. Sweet! :)

At first I thought it was just from a McDonald's Toy Bazaar, until he said that it's the latest toy collection in McDonald's Happy Meal. My eyes sparkled (as what Mark claimed I would always do whenever I hear about Hello Kitty) the moment I knew about it. Knowing about McDonald's Happy Meal toys, which usually come in 4 collectible toys, I said to myself that I should have the other 3.

My excitement went to its peak when I saw the McDo TV ad..Hello Kitty is 35 years old and McDonald's is paying tribute to this adorable cartoon character every little girl loves. Celebrate every year you’ve grown with Hello Kitty with these adorable collectibles, there are 36 designs to collect!

McDonald’s 35 Years of Hello Kitty Collectible Toys

36 designs!!! Wohooo! We immediately planned of eating out at McDonald's for Saturday's lunch and the next thing we know, we've had McDo meals the whole day! And I ended up having these..Thanks Mark! :D

UP in 3D

Whenever I and Mark meet during weekends or after work, food trips and feel-good movies never get left out from our plans.

We've always wanted to try watching in IMAX cinemas, but the thought of the things that we have to go through, like traffic and having to go home late and all, keeps us just being contented with watching in Gateway Cineplex. ;p

I remember seeing the UP trailer when we watched The Proposal a few weeks ago. I got enchanted with the 3D thing and was so delighted when I heard that Greenbelt 3 Cinema 1 is now 3D-capable.

We watched UP in 3D at Greenbelt 3 Cinema 1.

UP by Disney-Pixar

It was kind of inconvenient though because we had to wear these special glasses to actually watch the movie. I and Mark also got somewhat blurry vision for a couple of minutes after the movie.

Dolby 3D Glasses

The movie was good. It was a mixture of fun, adventure, and love. I also enjoyed watching the objects literally pop out. Let me also say that the trailers were as good as well--Disney's G-Force, Sony's Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, and Partly Cloudy. These also showcased the abilities of Dolby 3D Digital Technology.
