Lotus Garden Hotel Manila: Gym and Jacuzzi

We went back to the hotel after our lunch to rest a little and prepare for our dinner cruise. But I guess luck was just not on our side that time because for the 2nd time, our dinner cruise got cancelled. And yes, it was still due to the bad weather. :(

The cruise was definitely out of our itinerary, so we just decided to stay at the hotel and make use of its facilities. :) Mark came prepared with some downloaded movies in his laptop and so that was what we did to kill time. At around 6pm, we decided to hit the in-house gym. We were pigging out since day 1, so we thought of shedding off some pounds. :p

The gym is located at the second floor of the hotel. It is open from 6am-10pm and guests may work out here for free. According to my fitness expert boyfriend, the gym still lacks some machines but at least it has the basic equipment and machines for cardio exercises and muscle toning.

The gym is also equipped with a TV, air-condition, drinking water, alcohol, and, towels on each machine (additional towels may also be requested).

I was just planning to do some cardio workout on the treadmill and stationary bike, but since I'm with my personal trainer, a full-body workout was what I ended up doing. :p After my training, it was then Mark's turn to do some spins.

After our workout, Mark and I checked out the hotel's jacuzzi at the ground floor of the Marilao wing. The jacuzzi is open from 3pm-11pm.

Also at the Marilao wing is the Solara Bar and Grill which also serves food, beverages, and cocktail drinks. It was around 8pm when we finished our workout, and since there were no guests when we checked out the jacuzzi,  we decided to have our dinner first. Details of our dinner are included in my next post. :)

After dinner, we headed to the jacuzzi for some relaxin'. There was already a group of old folks when we returned but they were just dining and having some drinks so Mark and I still got the jacuzzi all to ourselves. :D

A dip at the jacuzzi after a full body workout sure is a perfect way to relax.

We also ordered some cocktails from the bar to unwind while relaxing. :p I can't remember the exact prices but Solar Bar and Grill's cocktails are very affordable and delicious too. We got two cocktails plus a pineapple shake and only paid around Php 400.

Although our cruise got cancelled for the second time, our dinner-cruise-turned-work-out-and-jacuzzi-night was definitely fun and relaxing! :D
