Segara Villas and Suites: Bar, Swimming Pool, and Spa

Aside from the sophisticated ambience, trademark personalized service and good food, Segara Suites and Villas also boasts of its hotel amenities.

Bar and Pool Area

At the far end of the Segara Suites is a walkway which leads to the hotel's bar and pool area. They also have a small playground where toddlers and the young-at-heart can enjoy. :D

During daytime, you may choose to chill and have some snacks and refreshments in their pool bar which is equipped with an array of exotic tropical drinks and a complete bar.

The bar area with of course some modern Asian design and Balinese accents. :)

You may also sun-bathe, read a book, or just plainly relax on one of their fourteen sun-loungers while enjoying a chill out music.

And of course you may choose to take a dip in their 200-sqm swimming pool to get refreshed.

The pool near the bar area is 3-ft deep, perfect for kids; while the far-end is 5-ft deep.

I also love how the bar and pool area were surrounded by lush greens. I'm not sure with the rest of you, but I feel just so relaxed whenever I see colorful flowers and lush greens. :D

The bar and pool are open from 7am to 10pm. You may choose not to bring your robes or towels with you because towels will be given by their staff at the pool area.

At night, chilling out at the bar or having an evening dip at the pool is also a perfect way to cool down and end the day.

Cocktail drinks, alcoholic drinks, or just plain old refreshments and snacks are also served in the bar in a pay-as-you-order basis. You may opt to have your food and drinks served right at the bar or at the sun-loungers while chillin' by the pool. :)

Another amenity that Mark and I got to enjoy is their spa. Segara Day Spa is located in between the Segara Suites and Segara Villas.

Segara Day Spa

Spa services include a choice of Swedish, Shiatsu, or therapeutic massage, each for Php 800.00 for a 1-hr whole body massage. Foot spa may also be availed for Php 320.00.

Mark and I both chose the Shiatsu massage. It was soothing and relaxing that Mark fell into a deep sleep during the massage. I knew he was sleeping because I could hear him snore hahaha! :p

Massage Room

We both felt relaxed after the massage but we also both agreed that the massage techniques where a bit basic. We actually know nothing with massage techniques at all, but we've already been to different spas and have availed of whole body massages countless of times already, and we can tell that the massage service in Segara Day Spa is still lacking something.

Segara also have other amenities like the Indulge Me Room, located near the hotel's reception, where you can choose from an array of especially designed indulgences (like signature beauty and body essentials, specialty pillows, DVDs and board games) to delight the senses. I'm just not sure if there is an extra cost for the rest but the DVDs and board games may be used for free.

They also have a function room for special occasions. The room can accommodate up to 300 persons.

Overall, Mark and I enjoyed our stay in Segara. With great ambience, good food, and excellent customer service, Segara made our Subic vacation a lot more fun and relaxing. :)
