Bonding at the Salon with Gia

I usually go by myself to the salon to have my hair cut or my nails done. And whenever it's time to have my nails done, I would usually just have my toe nails done. I would also opt not to have my nails polished.

But this time was different. Just this afternoon, I had my finger and toe nails done, and polished too. :) Plus, I got to do it with my dear sister. :)

Gia also had her nails done. We chose the same color for the nail polish, but she opted to have nail art done on her nails. She chose the floral pattern.

After putting the maroon nail polish, a white nail polish was placed on a metal stencil. A rubber stamp was rubbed on the stencil which was then stamped on to each nail. It turned out really nice and neat.

I would have wanted to have it done on my nails too, but my nails were really small haha!

Train To Win

"No one wins like Manny because no one trains like Manny."

This is what's keeping every participant of the Nike Train to Win challenge very eager to do as much push ups as they can just to beat Manny.

And as in my previous post, Mark also took this challenge.

Here are some snapshots of the videos he uploaded to the Nike Train to Win site. He already has 3 entries and as of 2pm yesterday, he already made 246 push-ups.

He still has 2 more days to beat the top score and I know he can do it. Good luck Mark! Keep pushing! :D

Bodybuilding Laban sa Droga

I accompanied Mark last Saturday to Caloocan for another competition.

The body building competition was organized by Power Gym and was entitled:

'Bodybuilding Laban sa Droga'.

And as always, I was again Mark's personal assistant and was the one who gave him a perfect tan. :D

Mark joined the Bantam Weight Division. Here are some photos of Mark while flexing his muscles.

After the flexes and poses, and the very long, boring, and not-so-convincing talks of some politicians, the awarding finally came. Mark finished 4th!

Congratulations love! For me you're still the sexiest! :)

Training Is Everything

I got excited and happy when I was able to catch another Nuffnang advertisement here in my blog--the Nike Training Is Everything ad. The add consists of two parts, Gear Up and Train to Win. The Gear Up portion includes new limited edition Manny Pacquiao Nike apparel. The Train to Win portion is a contest and a challenge to beat Manny at his exercises.

The challenger should send a video of him doing the most number of push-ups in three minutes or less. One entry may be sent daily up to March 31, 2010. For each push-up, a raffle entry is earned. The winner will get a pair of Nike MP Trainer SC 2010 Low. A limited edition Team Pacquiao shirt also awaits the challenger who earns the most raffle entries.

When I first saw this ad, I immediately thought of Mark. And after some convincing, I was able to make him take the challenge haha!

Here are the Day1 and Day2 videos of Mark, training his way to victory! ;p

His entries are a little late since it's just a few days to go before March 31, but we are still hoping that he can make it to the top! Good luck Mark! :D

The Cavs Annihilated The Pistons

The Cleveland Cavaliers tore down the visiting Detroit Pistons yesterday in a blow out game 104-79. The Cavs swept the Pistons in their four game season series for the first time in 30 years. The win over the Pistons gave the Cavs its seven straight win in a row.

Leon Powe led the Cavs by scoring a team-high 16 points, grabbing a game-high 10 rebounds. Lebron James added 15 points who sat the entire fourth quarter, watching teammate Leon Powe in astonishment and impressed on how his teammate is playing.

"He adds an intimidation factor to our team," James said. "He's very comfortable out there in getting to the line, and that's a good trait to have."

Four other Cavs notched a double digit points in the game. J.J. Hickson scored 13 points and grabbed eight boards, Mo Williams added 12 points, Anthony Parker finished with 11, and Delonte West scored 15 points off the bench.

Detroit Pistons’ main guys Tayshaun Prince and Richard Hamilton struggled in most of the game, scoring a total of only 5 of 19 shooting from the field, even with both of their points combined. Jason Maxiell led the Pistons with 16 points and Charlie Villanueva added 11 points. They are the only two players in the team who got double-figures.
