Saw this this draft post on my folder while I was organizing the files in my pc. I originally posted this one on my Friendster page, but since I already had my account disabled, I decided to post it here. This suddenly brought me back to the times when Mark and I were just starting out as a couple. :p

Girls love surprises, right?! Especially when it's from the one they love. A box of chocolates secretly placed in her locker, a sweet "Thank you!" note slipped inside a book that was borrowed from her, a dozen red roses delivered at her office on her birthday with a note that says 'Happy Birthday Honey! I love you!' --these are just a few of the common surprises that guys do (or should i say, girls want guys to do! haha!), which never fail to give kilig moments to girls (believe me! ;p)...and well, yeah..sweet enough to win our hearts! *wink*
But as I was looking back, going through some old stuff, and thinking about these surprises, I have to say that when it comes to guys surprising girls, nothing still compares to my guy's style! ;p
I remembered one time when Mark and I were having merienda with some of my college girl friends while waiting for our next class. While we were eating and having some chit chat, Mark asked for a paper so I gave him one. My friends and I were busy talking about girly stuff while Mark was busy doing something with the paper that I gave.
Just as when we were about to leave for the next class, Mark handed me this...
...a piece of paper folded into small parts, while saying "o sayo na lang..basahin mo.."
Last week, Mark asked me out on a "Fridate" at Movie Stars Cafe in SM Mall of Asia. I love receiving invites from Mark but I actually wasn't excited when I knew that we were going to SM MOA. I'm from Antipolo while Mark is from Caloocan, so meeting halfway at Quezon City has always been our practice for our weekend dates. Okay I'll admit, I just hate having to drive around busy streets, stroll around crowded malls, and most especially having to ride a public transportation while braving the traffic and the crowd! :p
Mark has been raving about how cool the place seems when he saw it online. When I checked it, I also got excited and so I just tried to let go of the brat in me and gave in to his invite! :D It is very rare that Mark and I go out on dates outside Quezon City, but whenever we do, Mark makes sure that we go to places that are worth our effort and time. Plus, Mark and I both seemed to have built a penchant for themed restaurants and hotels, like Pan De Amerikana and Segara Villas and Suites, and Movie Stars Cafe is a great addition to the list. :p
We were half an hour early for the cafe's opening so we both agreed to just have our lunch at SM MOA, go watch some movie, and just get back to the cafe afterwards. After watching OZ The Great and Powerful, we headed to the Movie Stars Cafe along Seaside Boulevard, which is a few walks away from the mall.
Mark and I were already delighted, like little kids, right when we saw the logo of the restaurant from afar.
It was actually my baby brother, Jaoey, who first saw this idea on the internet moths back. He was delighted when he showed it to me and made me promise that we'll make some at home. And so one Saturday afternoon, I obliged. :)
I'm not actually sure with the name of this dish, but this is basically just the ordinary spaghetti that most of us grew up with, preparation- and taste-wise, but with an added fun and excitement to it. :D
The spaghetti noodles are stuck into the hotdog chunks, making it look like the noodles are oozing out from the hotdogs. :D

Aside from the lovely beaches, hotels, and restaurants, Subic is also known for its adventure spots. Mark and I have already been to Zoobic Safari and Ocean Adventure, but there's one more place that we haven't been to, and that's Tree Top Adventure. So after a hearty breakfast at Asian Spices, Mark and I went off for some extreme adventure! :D
We went straight to the information area and were ushered to the holding area for some briefing. Together with the rest of the guests, we got briefed on the different adventures and adventure packages that we mail avail at Tree Top. After which, we were asked to fill up a form and pay at the cashier.
There were a number of adventures to choose from which you may avail separately or through adventure packages which come in a more affordable price. Mark chose the Adventure Package E which includes Canopy Ride and Canopy Walk, Superman Ride, and Tree Drop Adventure. Rate is at Php 620.00/person. These adventures really made Mark excited but not the scaredy cat in me, so I just opted for Adventure Package B. The package is almost the same with package E, with Canopy Ride, Canopy Walk, and Superman Ride, but just minus the Tree Drop Adventure. Rate is at Php 500.00/person.
Mark and I first went to try the Canopy Ride. We had a little briefing, were equipped with harnesses and hard hats, and then off we went!

Just like every extreme sport which involves heights, the scariest part for me would always be the part wherein you'll have climb a flight of stairs to the reach the platform, mount the ride/machine, on a platform way above the ground, and then let go! I just always have a hard time in letting go. Haha!
Seems like I just can't get enough of those cute, chic, stylish, and super comfy flats from Solemate. When we paid a visit at an SM Department Store a few months back, I can't help but get myself some new pairs. :D
I got fascinated with these shimmers and shoelace bows, so I got all three colors. I also got a pair of the plain red flats with shoelace bow. Each Solemate pair costs Php 299.75, but buying two pairs would only cost Php 399.75. :D
Just like the Solemate flats that I got before, my new pairs are also made of a light fabric which is very soft and comfortable. Perfect for some stroll around the mall, some long walks, or even for some movie dates or some lunch or dinner outs. Let me just say that among my Solemate flats, the pairs with shimmer are my favorites! They never fail to add that instant glam to my outfit.
