Got to witness another feel-good and "proud Ate" moment last Saturday. My baby brother, Jaoey, received recognition for being the #1 Best in Math among the whole batch of Grade 5 students in their school! Yay! :D
All of us in the family actually got giddy when Jaoey announced the news! I even joked on going up the stage with him with some tarps and banners and Daddy also said about contacting some media men to cover the event. Hahaha! Yup, we were all that excited for Jaoey's accomplishment. :)
Posting this recipe (another long overdue post) for my girl friend, Cat. :) Oh I'm such an inefficient blogger, I know, I know. *sigh* But I hope I can somehow make it up to her and of course to all of you, my dear readers, with this mouth-watering and easy-to-prepare dish. :)
It's actually a recipe of my sister, Gia. We made this for snacks a few weekends back. I instantly fell in love with Pizza Hut's Crab Salad Roll when Gia brought home some. Those lettuce, cucumber, and crab meat wrapped in rice wrapper, oh and that yummy dip, all made me crave for it days after, so Gia and I decided to make our own version one weekend afternoon.
Pizza Hut's version didn't have mangoes in it and used rice wrapper, unfortunately my homemade rice wrapper didn't turn out as expected so we just did away with it and used tortilla instead. We also included ripe mangoes for an added twist. :)

It's been almost a year since Mark left for a job opportunity abroad, but it seems like forever already! Ugh..Well I'm overacting, I know, I guess I just miss him badly.
But whenever I miss him, just like what I'm feeling as of this writing, I just stare at this photo and just think of our happy times together and remember the beautiful quote which I saw online.
"Distance never separates two people who are truly in love."
Please forgive me for another long overdue post. I'm just trying to cross out each one of my backlogs. :D
Part of the series of the pre-birthday celebrations that I had was another lunch out with my family. It was actually an impromptu lunch out. I guess Daddy was just feeling a little lazy to cook that time that he decided to eat out.
I already knew that we will have to dine at a Chinese restaurant, as that is the only cuisine that somehow keeps up with my daddy's meticulous palates. :) Good thing the Chinese food choices within Antipolo are already expanding. We now also have North Park here in our place. Yay!
Hello dear readers! How have you all been? How was your Valentine's day? Hope you all had a love-filled day. As for me, I was busy with a lot of things for the past couple of weeks and unfortunately wasn't able to update this blog. Sorry for that. But I'll try to make it up to you guys.
Got another invite for the grand opening of Bay Leaves Steak House last January 28. Another late post, I know, but I hope you guys will still read on. :p
Saw this in my drive while I was sorting out some files. I made this illustrations years back for a friend's wedding invitation. :)
Got this "Love Is..." quotes on the net and thought of making an illustration out of it. Drew it in a bond paper using pencil, outlined it with sign pen, scanned it, and then colored it in Photoshop. :)
And because today is Valentine's Day, I guess it's just very fitting for this post. :D

So, what is love?
