Taste Kitchen

I was meaning to try Taste Kitchen especially when it opened early last year because of it's chic yet relaxed vibe. Just a few blocks away from our home and just right in front of Spinney's, I thought this would be a perfect place to replenish after a hard day's work or after some grocery shopping.

Dusty's: DIFC's Newest 'Kid' on the Block

Deli by day, grape bar by night, and a whole lot more in between--that basically sums up what Dusty's is all about. Dusty’s is a homegrown concept that portrays a mixture of different traditions and cultures into the design, ambience, and food. Named after the owner himself, Dusty Tourani, and inspired by his journeys from all over the world, this gastro-bar offers an all new and unique experience around home-cooked food concept.

Cucina in Al Karama

Cucina is just one of the many restaurants here in Dubai that serves authentic Filipino food. Located in Al Attar Shopping Mall in Al Karama, which is just a few walks away from our home, this is where I always get my isaw fix.

Isaw is grilled chicken intestines, a Filipino street food, and whenever I'm craving for it, Cucina is where we go to. Their isaw is just like what we have back home, but this one is the expensive version. Well AED 10 is really not that much, but not if you know that you can get 3 sticks in the Philippines for not even AED 1. :p

Mozzo Centrale - Neighbourhood Eatery in Jumeirah

Whenever I think of Italian restaurants, two things always come to mind. One having an elegant and chic ambience and most of the time intimidating too, and another having that traditional old school Italian vibe with mostly bricks and wooden fixtures.

Sweet Indulgence in Al Karama

Visited this hidden gem in Al Karama after dinner for some dessert fix with my friends.

While each of my friends have already placed their orders, I spent minutes staring at the display trying to figure out what to have. Everything looks inviting!

Dinner at Liwan Restaurant

For my first food trip in Dubai for 2016, we had it at Liwan Restaurant. Mark took me out on a dinner date to Liwan Restaurant one Friday night, special thanks to the dinner voucher that Al Ghurair Rotana gave him. :p

We've both been to the restaurant and have already experienced their buffet during Iftar, which we both liked by the way, so I was more than excited when Mark brought me back for another dinner buffet.
